NorthKey started with a simple idea: make smarter access to your home feel simple, personal, and trustworthy.
My name is Reynaldo López Rivera, founder of NorthKey. I'm not backed by a large corporation or a team of investors. I have an honest job, and outside of work I dedicate my time, energy, and savings to building NorthKey and creating something of my own.
Before offering my first smart lock to a customer, I installed one on my own front door. I tested the fingerprint access, PIN code, app, and physical key myself because I wanted to understand the product I was putting my name behind.
I believe in something simple: I won't sell you something I wouldn't trust on my own door.
A real person behind the brand

I'm building NorthKey one customer and one door at a time. Every order matters because every order represents someone choosing to trust the business I'm building — and when the product involves access to your home, I don't take that trust lightly.
